Medical Student Parent Interview

Going to medical school impacts more than just the individual who embarks on that journey. It is often a joint effort that affects their parents, their partners, & in some cases their children as well. In hopes of shedding light on a parent’s perspective of their student going to medical school, we interviewed a new UMHS student, Sarah Sandoval’s, father during student orientation to hear his thoughts on the campus & his daughter’s choice to attend UMHS. “She took a leap of faith in coming here and pursuing her goal, that speaks volumes… If this place comes knocking at your door, I say we’re not missing it.” Check out his interview & comment below if you are a #ProudParentAtUMHS!
