Pathways to Practicing Medicine in Canada

Are you from Canada and interested in becoming a physician? Please join Geneviève Gagné, UMHS Associate Director of Admissions - Canada, for a special livestream event, “Pathways to Practicing Medicine in Canada,” on Tuesday, July 18 at 7 pm ET. Geneviève will lead a panel discussion featuring Dr. Aaron Hoo, a UMHS graduate and practicing physician in Vancouver, and Dr. Shamim Khan, a UMHS graduate and Clinic Owner in Ontario. They will discuss their individual journeys to medical school, describe their pathways to practicing medicine in Canada, review key differences between practicing medicine in the United States and Canada, and provide tips for students hoping to establish a medical practice in Canada. UMHS 2023 Graduation Ceremony

Dr. Andrieu Aguinaldo on internal medicine residency in California

UMHS 2023 residency Match Dr. Andrieu Aguinaldo starts an internal medicine residency this summer at Prime West Consortium, West Anaheim Medical Center in Anaheim, California. Born and raised in California, Dr. Aguinaldo is pleased to be returning to his home state for residency. Pathways to Practicing Medicine in Puerto Rico
