Non-traditional Medical Student Livestream: A Student’s Perspective

Join us for a virtual discussion for prospective non-traditional medical students next Wednesday, July 13 at 6:30 pm EST. The event will feature two UMHS alumni as well as one current UMHS student who were all non-traditional students when they began their medical education. You will learn about their unique challenges and opportunities, from bringing families to St. Kitts, to starting medical school after being out of undergrad for a number of years. The panel will highlight how age and experience can also be great assets in the journey towards becoming a doctor, and share advice for students who are considering changing careers and taking the first step on this path. We will leave ample time for Q&A.
