Dr. Azimi-Ghomi '18 on trauma & critical care medicine

Dr. Obteene Azimi-Ghomi was the UMHS valedictorian of the Class of 2018 at UMHS. He is now a trauma and critical care surgeon at the University of South Florida in Aventura, a position he started in September 2024. He was previously a trauma critical care fellow at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Azimi-Ghomi will host a webinar “Medical Specialty Spotlight: Career Paths in General Surgery” with fellow UMHS graduate Dr. Kirthana ("Kerthy") Sugunathevan ’23 on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 7pm Eastern.
